FRANKFORT, Ky. (December 4, 2023) — The Constitution of Kentucky calls for convening the 2024 Legislative Session on Jan. 2 in Frankfort. Senate Majority Floor Leader Damon Thayer of the 17th Senate District is proactively reaching out to constituents, urging them to stay informed and engaged in the legislative process.

Expressing his commitment to ensuring that residents’ voices are heard and valued, Thayer encourages constituents to sign up for legislative updates from his office. By staying informed, constituents can actively shape legislative outcomes directly impacting communities in the 17th Senate District.

“I’m excited for another legislative session as Senate Majority Floor Leader and as the voice for the residents of Grant, Kenton, Scott and a portion of Fayette County,” Thayer said. “Whether it’s ensuring funding supports for our roads, bridges and highways or bringing in additional support for local tourism, I remain committed to ensuring our district thrives.
