As time springs forward, so too has the 2022 biennial state budget as various state budget bills–executive, legislative and judicial–crossed significant milestones in week 10.

Two-thirds of the 2022 legislative session is behind us after crossing the 40-day mark of the 60-day session. What arguably has been a marathon up to this point will become a sprint as budget negotiations draw near.

With each passing day of session, you can feel legislative efforts intensifying as lawmakers seek to enact bills important to them and beneficial to their constituents. Budget review continues in the state Senate, and in week eight of session we introduced and passed significant bills to help people across the Commonwealth.
