Senator Damon Thayer Recognized By NFIB For Business Voting Record During 2014 Session

FRANKFORT, Ky. –The National Federation of Independent businesses has recognized Sen. Damon Thayer for his voting record on issues of importance to small businesses during the 2014 session of the Kentucky General Assembly.

“Small Business owners are the backbone of Kentucky’s economy,” said Tom Underwood, NFIB’s Kentucky Director. “Senator Thayer has a keen understanding of the importance of Main Street business and the challenges they face. The citizens of the 17th Senatorial District can be proud of Sen. Thayer’s efforts to protect Free Enterprise in Kentucky.”

“Small businesses are the pulse of economic development – without them, our communities and our Commonwealth would suffer,” said Sen. Thayer. “As a small business owner myself, I know the challenges faced by small businesses. I am dedicated to supporting legislation that helps small businesses, and will continue to do so as long as I serve. It’s critical that we do what we can to ensure that businesses of all sizes have an environment in which they can thrive.”
